    Dr Levi was Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology and Neurosciences at UC San Diego from 1990 until 2013. She had a busy Neuro-Ophthalmology consultation practice and was Chief of the Neuro-Ophthalmology Service. Dr Levi was Ophthalmology Residency Program Director 2003-2012. Her dedication to teaching medical students, as well as Ophthalmology and Neurology residents, led to 16 teaching awards over her career at UCSD. After leaving UCSD in 2013, Dr Levi became Director of Neuro-Ophthalmology at Scripps Clinic, La Jolla, CA, a position she held for 10 years until her retirement in 2023.

    Dr Levi was President of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (NANOS 2012-2014) and the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons (CAEPS 2015). She represented both NANOS and CAEPS on the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Council. During her career, Dr Levi was recognized on multiple occasions as a Top Doctor by her peers of the San Diego County Medical Society, as well as by Castle Connolly and US News and World Report.
